Google Ads Advertiser Checker: Who Runs Ads?
This Actor checks a list of company websites or names against the Google Ads Transparency Center and returns one row per company: whether it advertises, the advertiser behind it, Google's ad count estimate, formats and the latest ad date. It is for agencies and sales teams who qualify leads by ad activity.
Main price: $3.20 to $6.00 per 1,000 companies checked, depending on your Apify plan.
What you can do with it
- Find which prospects already spend on Google Ads, and which do not.
- Add an advertises-on-Google flag and ad volume to CRM leads.
- See who advertises in your market and how actively.
- Compare ad activity across a list of brands in one table.
What you get
Results come as rows in an Apify dataset, which you can export as JSON, CSV or Excel or read over the API. These are the main fields:

advertises | true | Whether any ads were found |
advertiserName | ETERNAL LIMITED | Main advertiser behind the company |
adsEstimateLow, adsEstimateHigh | 800, 900 | Google's ad count range |
formatsInSample | VIDEO 30, TEXT 8, IMAGE 2 | Ad formats in the sample |
latestAdShown | 2026-10-20T10:08:47.000Z | Most recent ad date |
activeLast30Days | true | Ran ads in the last 30 days |
Pricing
This Actor is pay per event. Apify plan tiers set the price: the column for your Apify plan is what you pay, and higher plans pay less per result. Prices are per 1,000 events.
| Event | What is charged | Free | Starter | Scale | Business |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Company checked | One company or domain checked against the Google Ads Transparency Center. | $6.00 | $4.00 | $3.60 | $3.20 |
Run start fee: $0.05 per 1,000 runs. Charged when the Actor starts running. Number of events charged depends on Actor memory (one event per GB, minimum one event). Prices come from the Apify Store and can change; the Actor's Apify page always shows the current ones. Platform usage is billed through your Apify account.
Run it from code
Create an API token in Apify Console (Settings, API and Integrations) and replace YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN. This call starts a run with a small input and returns the rows when it finishes. Synchronous calls suit small inputs; for big jobs, start a run and read the dataset later.

FAQ
- Domain or name?
- Domains give the most exact results. Names pick the advertiser with the most ads.
- What if a company has no ads?
- It comes back with advertises: false.
- Why several advertisers for one domain?
- Agencies and resellers can run ads that point to the same domain. They are listed with their ad counts, and the biggest one leads.
- I need every ad with images and dates.
- Use the Google Ads Transparency Scraper for full ad lists.
- Where do I report a problem?
- Email hello@apisamurai.com, or open an issue on the Actor's Apify page.
